A flexible flight change policy is offered by United Airlines. The airline will make every effort to keep your travel as uninterrupted as possible when you change your travel plans.
You have the option to switch your reservation to a different day or time if you purchased an economy ticket from United.
If the initial schedule was changed, you could ask for a complete refund.

In most cases, changing a ticket is free of charge. There are certain restrictions, though. Flight changes must be possible at least 30 days prior to the original departure date.
You may only alter one basic ticket that you have purchased. You must finish the flight in order to retain your entitlement to any residual value.
To change your flight, you must speak with the United Airlines customer support department. The agent will present you with a number of fresh flight options throughout this time.
You can use your debit or credit card to complete the transaction and the change charge, which is $25, is your responsibility. You'll be sent a new itinerary if the change procedure goes without a hitch. You may be eligible for a reimbursement of the difference between the old and new itineraries in specific circumstances.
Note : If you have an award ticket, you can only modify it once before to the scheduled departure.
